We paint house fronts, rendered walls, window frames, fascias, soffits and front doors between April and early October, when it is dry and above 8°C. A front door and frame starts from £140; a full exterior on a semi starts from £1,500.

When is the best time to paint the outside of a house in Stockport?
Late April to September is ideal. Paint needs a dry surface and temperatures of at least 8°C to 10°C while it cures, and our autumn evenings get damp early.
Do I need scaffolding?
Most two-storey semis and terraces can be done from ladders and a tower. We will tell you at the quote visit if scaffolding is needed and include the cost.
