Our day rate is £210 per decorator. Fixed prices start from £280 for a box bedroom, £380 for a double bedroom, £420 for a living room and £650 for a hallway, stairs and landing, including preparation and trade paint. Local decorators in Stockport typically charge £150 to £220 a day.

We give a fixed, itemised written quote after a free visit. The day rate is only used for small extras you add during the job, and we agree those with you first.

No. Our prices include trade-quality paint from Dulux Trade or Johnstone’s Trade. If you want Farrow & Ball, Little Greene or another premium brand, we quote for it or you can supply it.

Yes. We carry £2m public liability insurance and give a 2-year workmanship guarantee on every job.

Yes. We move and cover furniture, lay cotton dust sheets, tape and protect carpets and hard floors, and hoover up at the end of each day.

Yes. Every quote includes a free colour consultation with large painted sample boards, so you can see colours in your own light before committing.

Yes. We use low-odour water-based paints, keep doors closed on wet rooms and let you know which rooms to keep pets out of each day.

There is no deposit on jobs under £1,000. On larger jobs we ask for the cost of materials only, with the balance paid when you are happy with the finished work.

We work Saturday mornings, and can do quote visits on weekday evenings by arrangement.

A bathroom takes about a day, a double bedroom 1.5 to 2 days and a living room 2 to 2.5 days. Preparation and drying time between coats are what set the pace.
